Janey Imaani Chowdhury is a Certified Life Coach (ACC) accredited by International Coach Federation and a Certified Daring Way Facilitator (CDWF) accredited by The Daring Way ™ University. Janey Imaani runs Daring Way™ and Rising Strong™ workshops, seminars and consultations for non-profit organizations, private sector clients and educational institutions. She has ran workshops for the World Bank Family Network. For over two years she has held a series of workshops and seminars with two non-profits, MakeSpace and the Ikram Foundation. Janey also conducts numerous private Daring Way ™ and Rising Strong ™ sessions in her office, in Alexandria VA. Besides, running the workshop Janey Imaani has been the owner of an onsite and virtual private coaching practice since 2008. Janey coaches Priests, Imams, physicians, CEO’s, teachers and many more in Europe, Central America and USA
In 2014, Janey Imaani was mentioned twice on the Oprah Winfrey’s OWN. She was also a featured panelist on the British TV show Women’s Voice regarding women and family.
Prior to that, Janey Imaani worked as a Crisis worker for the CrisisLink center at Virginia Hospital. Janey Imaani specialized in suicide prevention for young adults, senior citizens and Veterans.
Janey Imaani was born and raised in London and comes from a family of South Asian/Bangladeshi descent, migrating to England in the 1940s. Her mother was recently awarded the prestigious honour of the MBE (Member of the British Empire) by Prince Charles of Wales for over 25 years of social work in disenfranchised neighborhoods in the London.
Janey Imaani is the proud mother of two beautiful girls and currently resides in Northern Virginia, USA.
